Possibly The Last Page About ... SCOTTIE

A tragic truth
about F. Scott Fitzgerald
is that he basically
spent two dollars
for every dollar he earned
 
Scottie Fitzgerald
ended up with
more money than
she could ever spend

Scottie's oldest daughter
—ELEANOR LANAHAN—
did what had to be done:
a family member
writing a biography of
Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald's
one and only
"child"
 
I finally completed
the reading of
this 600 page book
 
My knee-jerk reaction
to finishing a book
is to seek out
a review
from a reliable source
BUT
was very negative about
Scottie
as was 
 
 
Tragically negative reviews
despite some
revelatory and fascinating
writing
merely extends the myth
that Scott and Zelda
were the most tragic couple
of 20th Century
American culture 
and
its most beautiful couple
