It began as the GODFATHER OF MATH, evolved into the GOODFATHER OF MATH. Now this. Go figure...

The kind of humor I like is the thing that makes me laugh for five seconds and think for ten minutes = G. CARLIN...Stain glass, engraved glass, frosted glass
–give me plain glass = JOHN FOWLES ... Music is the mathematics of the gods=PYTHAGORAS ... Nothing is more fluid than language = R. L. SWIHART
I cannot live without the oxygen of laughter = DAWN POWELL ... !!! ... But laughter cannot survive without the hydrogen of gravitas = PAUL OLIVERIO

Imagine A World With Plagiarism Aglow Everywhere You Looked

"God is a concept
by which we
measure our pain"

If I had changed
my name to
" ________ "
then the plagiarism
would have been
more obvious

Actually,
is from a song
written/recorded
by John Lennon
but
it is followed by
a re-phrasing
of what happens to be
my all-time favorite

  1. Approximately June 3, 1966 at 5pm EST, I opened
my bedroom door with my phonograph blasting
    a newly purchased song.

I shouted in the direction of the dining room:
"I'll come to the dinner table right now if ALL of you
sing-along to the Beatles' Paperback Writer"

"No thank you" my mother said softly
    after consulting the other members
    of the Oliverio family.

I finally sat down at that dinner table
twenty minutes later. It had been cleared
of food and occupants except for my dish
of Veal cutlets with string beans
    + a side of salad.

I ate with great gusto while singing
    If the rain comes
they run and hide their heads

The next thing I know, either of my sisters
or parents blasted the volume on
    the living room television
