Like a character conceived
in one of his novels,
he would sooner starve
than cook another meal

He could weave
the most elaborate falsehoods
with the most trustworthy of faces
for as long as his listeners
remained credulous

Welcome to Quotacious Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteIt may be the only one of its kind and it happened somewhat
by accident when I walked into my garage/recording studio
with my dulcimer and a loose-leaf binder of 80 "book reports"
with 40 sleeve protectors.
Me thought: Why do my own thinking today when I can
quote some grandmasters of the English language?
Me also thought what a shame that no one could hear
some pretty groovy dulcimer music that went unrecorded
while the iPhone was being charged upstairs
