It began as the GODFATHER OF MATH, evolved into the GOODFATHER OF MATH. Now this. Go figure...

I cannot live without the oxygen of laughter = DAWN POWELL ... !!! ... But laughter cannot survive without the hydrogen of gravitas = PAUL OLIVERIO

What Today's NYTimes Spelling Bee Will Not Accept

________________________________________________________________________________________________

According to the
Long Beach Urban Dictionary,
DOOMEDY
is defined as
"Comedy dealing with disaster"

However,
according to the
Doomedy
is not a word

But Damned is perfectly acceptable

  1. Much more controversial than Doomedy being unacceptable,
    last week Tiffany was acceptable.
Contrary to how all acceptable words are listed with an initial
capital letter, no proper nouns are acceptable and I searched
the internet all over to find "tiffany" and came up empty.

    1. I agree with you 100% and today's Doomedy page
is nothing more than my joke de jeuer.

Hardly a day goes by when I am not scratching my head
over the acceptable/unacceptable Spelling Bee words.

I despise the "Community members" who pontificate
about their utterly fabricated sense of the English language
BUT I also believe the NYTimes Spelling Bee controversies
help to enhance the popularity of their WORDLE Puzzle
which is devoid of controversy and always fun,
especially when Paul +Carol CarPeo have
      a 99.3% success rate

[including me] would like to think there is
