      For the simple reason that I am listening
      to her music as I write this
      and wrote what was above

      She was a popular blues singer
      in the Forties but fell into such obscurity,
      I didn't know who she was until Mrs. CarPeo
      "accidentally" discover her music
      two months ago

      She sounds like the happy medium between
      Bessie Smith and Dinah Washington

      Lil Green was also a very clever
      song-writer
