It began as the GODFATHER OF MATH, evolved into the GOODFATHER OF MATH. Now this. Go figure...

The kind of humor I like is the thing that makes me laugh for five seconds and think for ten minutes = G. CARLIN...Stain glass, engraved glass, frosted glass
–give me plain glass = JOHN FOWLES ... Music is the mathematics of the gods=PYTHAGORAS ... Nothing is more fluid than language = R. L. SWIHART
I cannot live without the oxygen of laughter = DAWN POWELL ... !!! ... But laughter cannot survive without the hydrogen of gravitas = PAUL OLIVERIO

Re-Routing Shakespeare In The Age Of The Corona Variant

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

To mask or not to mask
that is the question

To secure public health
or to empower yourself
as a death machine

Whether it is better
to act in vax with
the survival of humankind
or
to act in allegiance to
your overdriven ego

There is [or was]
never anyone
more important
in your life than
MOTHER
and
MOTHER
does not rhyme
with ego

The MOTHER
rhymes with
the other

There are times
when ego
belongs
in the backseat

  1. "Re-Routing Shakespeare" ???
I think it should have been "Updating Shakespeare."

    1. I think it would have been
      god-awfully presumptuous of Blogo-verio
      to "update Shakespeare"

I am someone who has read more
      Supermarket labels and cans
      than he has read
      William Shakespeare plays
      and sonnets

      An update of Mr. Shakespeare
      would not have had
      such an ornery rhyme scheme
      as what is written above

I grew up thinking "to be or not to be"
      was Shakespeare's literal indecision
      about an apartment building
