Some live their life
running from
a warrant

Some things never
will be

Some things
never were
 
But we have 
4-legged mates
covered with fur
 
Love them
hug them
feed them
 
Never deny
we need them
 
Some things are YOU
some things are ME
 
Some things are blind
some things can see
 
When in doubt
call it
memory

    The are/aren't tone of this verse calls to mind
    what one of my professors called BINARY POETRY.
