Despite No Alcoholic Haze In My Head From New Year's Eve ...

it is a foggy version
of my parents
whose unfogged image
—unquestionably between sexual interludes—
has previously appeared 
 

All I had to drink last night
was Diet Coke
and three glasses of milk:
I conked out 
before midnight

      My own personal psychoanalyst, Dr. Raft, advised me
      that would not be necessary.
      But that may have had something to do with
      my therapist also being a life-long friend:
      he confessed to me that he had a secret
      deep-felt affection for my Mother
      !!!
