Thus Spake The Man For Whom Christianity Was Named

According to
Jesus Christ 
responded to 
the following question:
 
WOULD YOU RATHER BE
WORSHIPED OR UNDERSTOOD
 
If I were understood,
the same would be true
for my siblings,
Allah and Buddha.
 
 Then
—and only then—
would there be peace in 
this world.
 
Churches, temples,
and mosques
would become
redundant.
 
BUT
vanity is not limited
to humans.
 
If I were worshiped,
collection plates
would work overtime.
 
Yet
the fact is 
that humans need jobs.
 
Nothing 
provides more jobs
than military defense
of a country,
tribe or culture
!!!
