In the
GodFather of Math Trilogy,
there have been
no shortage of images
of my parents.
In each photograph,
Grace and Sam
are stunningly beautiful
and I can [and do]
stare at those images
with rapture.
But in this image,
their photogenic beauty
is severely lacking.
Both parents have noses
wider than Wisconsin.
However,
I will spend no less time
fixating on their faces
Especially because of
the trace of color
above my father's head ________________________________________________________________________________________________
