      Because of the song Do You Know The Way To San Jose?
      and Kafka's desire to visit the United States,
      which he never did.

      HOWEVER, Kafka wrote a novel entitled Amerika,
      which was an absurdly funny masterpiece
      about the misadventures of someone
      who needs to escape from Germany.

      It was his first novel but it wasn't published
      until after his death
