Either 2015 or 2016... It makes me feel like an "old-time" Long Beach resident because the site was formerly a parking lot for my Starbucks which was shut down when the construction completed.
I referred to it as "my" Starbucks because I would routinely step to the counter without saying a word and my order would be filled. I knew 90% of staff by name and the morning manager was good enough to become full-time manager at the prestigious BUX in Belmont Shore. Her name is Darlene and she always wears a hat
